HOW TO APPLY
1. Your essay should be written in maximum of 2000 (Two Thousand) words.
2. Candidates should include the following in their essay.

e. Recent passport photograph.

f. Name of School and detailed address
g. Name of Principal and Phone Number
Entries should be clearly written (Legibility is important)

2014 MIKE OKONKWO ESSAY COMPETITION FOR NIGERIAN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The 2014 Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition is now open for entries for secondary school students in Nigeria.This 11th Edition of Mike Okonkwo Essay Competition is the latest in the series that span over a decade of developing and rewarding the writing skills of Nigerian Secondary Students towards National developent.
Submission of entries is open from 3rd March and closes on 2nd May, 2014.
Should it be typed or handwritten?

can the essay be as short as 500 words? because 2000 is not scaring me but its chasing so many people.
Dear Adaeze they said Maximum of 2000. This means it can be as less as 500 but it should not be more than 2000.
