CUSSONS BABY MOMENTS 3 CONTEST IS IN CATEGORY A AND B
A. Baby of the Year Competition
1. ELIGIBILITY.
i. To be eligible for this Contest, an individual must: be a legal resident of Nigeria and the age of maturity in the province of Nigeria – 18 years and above; and must be a parent, related guardian or sibling to the competing baby.
ii. All competing babies must be between the ages of 0 and 36 months
iii. A valid Birth Certificate for the Child will be requested for, any time during the competition or the Grand finale.
iv. Consent Letter from Parent{s} to allow the child who emerges the winner participate in the winnings of the Contest.
v. The individual will be the sole owner of all rights, title and interest submitted in connection with the Contest.
vi. By entering the Competition, the Entrants hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete and they have full rights to the images and details / data that is uploaded and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
vii. Employees of the Company, associated company, (collectively, the “Sponsors”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
viii. The Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsors for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
2. CONTEST PERIOD.
i. The Contest begins at 6:00 a.m. Greenwich Meridian Time (“GMT”) in October 28, 2015 and ends at Midnight Greenwich Meridian Time (“GMT”) on Thursday, December 31, 2015 (the “Contest Period”). To be eligible for the Contest, entries must be received between the contest period/timeline from October 2015 to December 31, 2015 (the end of the “Contest Entry Period”) after which time the Contest Entry Period will be closed and no further entries will be accepted.
3. HOW TO ENTER.
i. There is a purchase necessary to enter the Contest.
ii. To enter the contest participant must purchase 1 Cussons Baby Promo Gift Pack from any supermarket, store or open market.
iii. Entrants are advised to carefully read the instructions on the card and follow them as written. They must also read these terms and conditions therein the Facebook entry page.
iv. Entrants should retrieve the scratch card inside the pack, scratch off the silver panel which will reveal an alphanumeric set of numbers.
v. The alphanumeric code enables an entrant access to upload a baby’s picture on the Cussons Baby competition page on www.facebook.com/cussonsbabyng.
vi. Entrants are advised to provide all information required in the form for the entry to be valid. Each alphanumeric code allows only one entry per child.
vii. Entrant’s upload should be made within the specific duration of the competition (28th of October, 2015 to 31st of December, 2015) to ensure validity.
viii. All entries made after the stated deadline date will be void.
ix. The Company reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of claims and Entrants (including but not limited to Entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify all entries that are not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or that tampers with the claims process. If the Company fails to implement any of its rights at any stage, this does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
x. The Company hereby states that it will only accept picture entries that will not violate intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything, which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.
xi. After you have submitted your entry visit our Facebook page and like our Cussons Baby Nigeria Face Book Page on www.facebook.com/cussonsbabyng.
xii. By participating in this competition, the Entrant grants permission to the
Company to use the images or details/data in any and all media for promotional /marketing purposes with no payment consideration to the Entrant.
xiii. All Entrants must ensure that they have a valid national identification.
4. WINNER SELECTION.
i. Determination of the final winner will be done via a 4-staged process. This process will involve Online Voting for the favorite baby on Facebook and shortlisting and selection of the top voted babies from Facebook by an independent panel of judges.
ii. Judges decision will be based on defined criteria and will be final.
iii. Winners shall be selected as follows:
a. Stage 1: This is an online voting phase to determine the top 50 babies with highest likes on Facebook. This stage commences on the 28th of October 2015 and ends on the 31st of December 2015.
b. Stage 2: This is a judging phase. The Company will present the top 50 babies to an independent panel of judges for selection based on defined criteria. The judges will select the top 20 babies from the top 50 babies in Stage 1.
c. Stage 3: The Top 20 Babies are re-introduced for online Voting. The Company will present the top 20 babies from Stage 2 for another round of voting on www.facebook.com/cussonsbabyng, to determine the top 10 babies with highest likes.
d. Stage 4: The Company presents the top 10 babies from Stage 3 to an independent panel of judges to determine the final winner. The selection will be based on defined criteria.
e. Judges decision will be final.
f. Dates for Stages 2 to 4 will be communicated after Stage 1 on the Facebook page.
g. Before being declared the Prize Winner, the selected entrant shall be requiredto correctly have met the necessary requirements to comply with the Contest Rules.
h. EACH SELECTED ENTRANT WILL BE NOTIFIED BY TELEPHONE / EMAIL NO LATER THAN 24 hours to the Grand Finale.
i. Family, friends and fans of the entrants can vote for their favorite baby by clicking on the vote (like) button by the baby’s picture. Entrants are also eligible to vote for themselves.
j. Voters can only vote once throughout the duration of stage 1 and stage 3.
k. The final winner will be determined by an independent panel of judges only during the grand finale (the 4th Stage).
l. If needed, the Company reserves the right, but not the obligation, to screen, filter and/or monitor information provided by entrants and removes the same.
m. Upon notification, the selected entrant must respond by Email to the contact Admin / Email provided in the notification, and the Sponsors must receive the selected entrant’s response within two (2) business days of such notification. If the selected entrant does not respond in accordance with the Contest Rules, he/she will be disqualified and will not receive a Prize and another entrant may be selected in the Sponsors’ sole discretion. The Sponsors are not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected entrant to receive notification or for the Sponsors to receive a selected entrant’s response.

B. Toddler Grow and Shine Competition
1. Promotion Period:
i. The CUSSONS BABY® TODDLER GROW AND SHINE (the “Contest”) begins at 09:00:00am GMT on Wednesday 1st November, 2015 and ends at 23:00:59 p.m. GMT on Saturday 28th of November, 2015 (“Promotion Period”). Only during the Promotion Period will entries be accepted for the contest.
2. Sponsor: PZ CUSSONS NIGERIA PLC, Ilupeju Lagos – Nigeria (“the Sponsor”).
3. Eligibility:
i. Contest open to Toddlers between the ages of 2 – 5 years of Age (“the Participant”). Participant’s legal Guardian or Parents 18 years of age and above can only submit entries on behalf of participants.
ii. Entering a submission means the Participant has agreed to this rules and regulations of the Contest (“Rules & Regulations”).
iii. The Sponsor’s employees, advertising agency, digital agency and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
iv. This Contest is fully compliant with the local laws and regulations of the above stated country. Whenever there is a discrepancy between these rules and the local applicable laws, the later supersedes.
v. All Participants legal Guardians or Parents 18 years of age and above have read and unconditionally agree to the Rules & Regulations and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. The Participant is aware that winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
4. How to Enter the Contest:
Buy 2 Cussons Baby Promo Gift Pack from any store or at the Audition venue.
i. Locate the Registration points at any of the following Shoprite outlets or any Modern trade outlets in Lagos.

– Festival Mall Festac
– ICMIkeja
ii. At the registration point, Sign a Consent Form and Fill Data Card to receive a code, which will be generated as proof that your baby has met all necessary requirements for the auditions.
iii. On audition days, parents will present code/tag and birth certificate of the baby to get a CBM Grow and Shine audition slot/number at the venue after verification has been done as the only pass for participants into the audition.
iv. The best 20 participants will be selected by the judges and invited for the Grand finale where the overall winner will be chosen.
5. Prizes Drawing:

iv. Potential winners must continue to comply with all the Rules & Regulations listed herein. Winnings are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
v. In the event that the winner or potential winner is disqualified for any reason, and time permitting, the Sponsor will award the prize to the 1st Runner Up (“Second Potential Winner”). In the event, that the Second Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, and if time permits, the 2nd Runner Up (“Third Potential Winner”) will be awarded the prize. In the event that the Third Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, the prize will remain un-awarded.
