IMID is a software that enables mobile devices communicate with electricity meters remotely at real time. This allows you to recharge, check balance and get consumption and low credit alerts directly on your mobile phone. The concept is aimed at improving on the newly employed SMS method of recharging prepayment meters by riding on the GPRS Technology.
