ABOUT THE TALENT SHOW
Freestyle unplugged Nigeria is the music talent show open to all genres of music that will discover, manage, promote and reward cash prizes.
PRIZES
1st Prize N5,000,000 , 2nd Prize N3,000,000, 3rd Prize N2,000,000 & management deals to musicians in Nigeria based on their ability to exclusively perform their own songs.
Freestyle unplugged will see contestants auditioning over several unknown instrumentals during a three days regional auditions in order to make sure that the best singers, rappers and patois acts in the land are secured for the grand finale which will host top 20 finalists.
These finalists will be recording four original songs over four original instrumentals in a studio that will be performed head to head on the grand finale before five music experts and live audience.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR FREESTYLE UNPLUGGED NIGERIA
Contestants are required to SMS FUN names, aka & location to (35140) for N100 from any network in Nigeria.
Once SMS is received by team freestyle unplugged, entrants will auto receive a message reply with a pin that should be kept till audition day.
Contestants are required to visit www.raptunesafrica.com or www.freestyleunplugged.com to download and print Freestyle unplugged contestant tag in order to avoid duress at audition venue.
Entrants with contestant pin are guaranteed a chance to stand before our judges to “Rep” themselves and automatically lock a spot in the grand finale which will see them performing four original and professionally recorded songs before five music experts and audience.
NOTICE: Registration or entry via SMS closes January 2015 and there is no other form of registration. Entrants are advised to keep their contestant pin safe until auditions.
AGE LIMIT: 15 years and above.
REGIONAL AUDITIONS
Auditions kicks off February 2015 and will be happening in Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Benin, and Port Harcourt. Audition venues and dates will be announced over Radio, TV, Internet, broadcast SMS a week before commencement of auditions. All entrants with a pin will receive an SMS to this effect.
