Contest Terms & Conditions 

• Period: The #PrintingMadeEasy contest will be held from, April 17 to May 15, 2014.
• How to enter: Here is how to participate in the contest on Facebook:

• Eligibility:  This promotion is open to only South Africans residents aged 18 or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter of  HP INK ADVANTAGE Nigeria PROMOTION is Hewlett-Packard (Nigeria) Limited
• Indemnification: By participating in the contest, Participants agree to defend, indemnify and otherwise hold the Promoter and their agents, officers, directors, and employees (the “Released Parties”) harmless from and against any and all liability of any nature whatsoever including those relating to (a) any technical errors that may prevent the Participants from submitting an Entry during the Submission Period; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Challenge; (c) errors in the administration of the Challenge; and (d) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Participant’s participation in the Challenge or receipt or use of any prize, including any such claim by the Promoter’s employees or any third parties. Participation of the contestant(s) in the Contest shall be construed that the contestant(s), the Winner(s) have waived his/her right to dispute any decision(s) made by the Promoter in connection to the Contest and that the contestant(s) agrees to all the decision(s) made by the Promoter and that all the decision(s) shall be final and binding upon the contestant(s).
• Entries: Multiple entries are allowed as part of this contest. All contestant(s), including the Winners, shall do any and all acts and execute any and all documents in such manner and at such location as may be required by the Promoter in its sole discretion to protect, perfect or enforce any of the rights granted or confirmed to Promoter herein.
• Conduct: We will disqualify all the entries which contain obscene language or profanity. Participants shall not make statements that contain, include or involve any illegal or offensive content. HP reserves the right to reject any participant that it deems, in its sole discretion, to violate this provision.
• Winners:
• Weekly Winners – Two (2) winners will be selected each week to receive a pair of movie tickets and printer. The winners will be notified by being tagged in a Facebook comment on the post they responded to. They will have 24 hours to send a private message to the HP SA Computing Facebook page providing their name, phone number, email address and address prize should be sent to. If this is not completed, a new winner may be selected.  
• Grand Prize Winner – One (1) winner will be selected from comments posted on the #PrintingMadeEasy posts during Week Two and will receive tickets to the 67th Cannes Film Festival. This winner will also be notified by behind tagged in a comment on the same Facebook post they responded to. They will have 24 hours to send a private message to the HP SA Computing Facebook page providing their name, phone number, email address and address prize should be sent to.  If this is not completed, a new winner may be selected.  
• The Winners of the contest agree that they will provide a photo of himself/herself once they receive the prize to be shared on the HP SA Computing Facebook page. He/she shall make himself/herself available from time to time and co-operate with the Promoter to participate in any activity and/or campaign (Promotional Activity) of any nature whatsoever without any money payable to the Winners. Further, the Winners shall at no point of time refuse or disagree to participate in any such Promotional Activity for any reason whatsoever. The Winners agree that the footage of any nature with regard to the them shall vest with the Promoter, including but not limited to all intellectual property rights and any other rights for worldwide and in perpetuity.

• Prizes: As a prize, the Weekly Winners will get a pair of movie tickets (Tuesday question) or a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 e-All-in-One Printer (Thursday question).
• The Grand Prize Winner will receive a package for the 67th Cannes Film Festival for two people. We are offering flights, hotel, catering, airport transfers and red carpet screening. The winner must be 18yrs and must have a valid international passport and would be responsible for visa application; HP would provide letter of invitation to support visa application.
• No other Prize or compensation (monetary or otherwise) shall be awarded to the Winners.
• The Promoter is solely responsible for arranging and awarding the Prize for the Contest. The Promoter shall have the sole right to make any decision relating to the Prize including but not limited to decide or change the gift items mentioned as Prizes. All decisions made by the Promoter in connection to the aforesaid shall be final and binding on the Winner(s). The Promoter’s decision is based on a set of pre-determined criteria and their decision will be final and binding.
• No correspondence will be entered into about the Contest or the Promoter’s decision(s). Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part). If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
• If a Prize is declined, unclaimed or unable to be claimed, or if the Winners cannot be contacted from the details supplied, the Promoter may select the next best and valid entry from the entries received as an alternative Winner at its sole discretion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion not award the Prize to the Winner(s), if the Winner(s) is unable to produce documentation required at any given point of the time or if the Winner(s) cheats or commits a fraud or is dishonest etc. Upon request, the Winner(s) may also be required to provide their contact details, passport/identity number, proof of residency, etc., and or any other details deemed necessary and relevant by the Promoter in its sole discretion prior to the collection of any Prize(s) or as part of the contest entry mechanism.
• Upon participation in the contest, the entries written by the participant shall become the property of the Promoter and the Promoter shall retain all intellectual property rights in it.
• In certain circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the challenge and in such a case, the revised terms will be communicated to the participants of the contest.
• The Promoter will process any personal data of winners, which is provided to the Promote, solely in connection with the administration of, and participation of the Participant in the Competition, including as described in these Terms and Conditions and (ii) in compliance with applicable data protection law and the HP Privacy Policy:http://www8.hp.com/emea_africa/en/privacy/privacy.html.
• This Competition is administered for HP by its appointed digital marketing agency, and Promoter will therefore be sharing Participant’s data with this agency subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy.  
• Winners are solely responsible for any tax liability and any incidental expenses arising from the award of the prizes.
• No claim for reimbursement of connection costs or other costs related to the participation in the Competition will be accepted by HP.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by participants as a result of entering the Competition, not being able to enter into the Competition or accepting any prize.
• The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to participant or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Competition. 
• The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify without prior notice any participant HP finds to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of this Competition, to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
• The contestant(s) shall abide to all the laws of South Africa and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter in relation to any non-compliance of the rules of the promotion. All rights reserved. The terms of this Rules and Regulations shall be construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall not be affected. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of this Competition except with the prize winners.
• The participation and Terms and Conditions for this event are subject to South Africans and other applicable export laws and regulations.
