LAGOS THEATRE FESTIVAL “CALL FOR FRINGE PROPOSALS”

Are you a theatre performer who excels in acting, singing or dancing? Do you wish to present your work as part of the 2016 edition of Lagos Theatre Festival?
We are seeking performers who wish to present their work with us as part of the Fringe and welcome proposals relating to: small theatre, children’s theatre, dance, film, spoken word, comedy, puppetry, cabaret, music and interdisciplinary arts. Proposals can range from short pieces (minimum fifteen minutes) to artists wishing to apply for a longer performance.
We will present a range of artists during the Fringe and aim to schedule different shows each night, allocating space in our programme for full shows, double bills, individual spots and curated shows.
In 2016, Lagos Theatre Festival will return bigger and better than ever. The Festival will take place at several venues on Lagos Island and the mainland with a curated programme running alongside a Fringe strand allowing a greater than ever number of artists and audiences to take part.
