SELECTION PROCESS
To build up momentum for the event, candidates that will be meticulously and fairly shortlisted will be camped for 7 days. The camping is designed to mentally and physically prepare and groom contestants for the Grand Finale, and also to assess contestants on key aspects that cannot all be adequately captured on the day of the pageant alone.
A series of events will determine which Mother and Daughter makes it to the final stage. The Pre-event activities include:
Dance and catwalk lessons
Training on poise and etiquette
Celebrity Visit (a select celebrities will visit the camp to mentor contestants)
Kid Wits Challenge (a test of intellects of contesting daughters by examining their knowledge on contemporary societal issues. The winner gets a certain amount in scholarship)
Supermom Challenge (A cooking competition for mothers. The winner will be decided by votes from the daughters who will taste the dishes without knowing which mom made which. The winner gets a defined value of kitchen makeover)
Photo shoot session. Photos will be posted on various social media platforms for the public will vote their for their Most Photogenic Mother and Daughter.
Facility Tour. (The visit will be aired on Silverbird Entertainment News and on Rhythm).
A 7-day countdown programme on Silverbird Television and Rhythm FM which will showcase interesting highlights of camp activities.
Registration ends on the 9th of June.
