Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter this Competition and the prizes to be won form part of these Terms & Conditions. By participating all entries are bound by the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Entry is only open to residents of Nigeria. Employees (including contract or staff) of the Promoter and their Immediate Families, and any of the Promoter’s agencies, suppliers or contractors associated with this Competition and their Immediate Families, are ineligible to participate. (Immediate Family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.)
2. This Competition shall run for one month commences on 5th May 2014 and ends on 2nd June 2014 (“Competition Period”).
3. Registration with a valid email address is required for notification purpose
To win:
(c) The first person to answer correctly all the questions in all the 11 stages and physically locate the lost card wins the quest. Correctly answer all the questions posted every 2 days; 1 question every 2 days for the 22 days. The questions shall be posted on the cashless quest site.
(d) A Consolation prize shall be awarded to the 1st participant to answer correctly the questions in each levels; 1 participant per level from level 1-10.
4. Prizes: Total prize money of N250, 000 is to be won. The winner goes home with N200, 000 while the level 1- 10 winners go home with N5, 000 each.
This Competition is a game of speed and knowledge. All participants acknowledge and agree that there is an element of subjectivity in the judging criteria. All decisions by the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entertained. Participants irrevocably agree not to challenge the results of the Competition or any decision made by the judges.
6. There are 11 stages in the Cashless Quest and one stage shall be attempted per 2 days by each participant
7. The names of the winners; the main winner and 10 other winners of consolation prizes shall be published on the NIBSS Facebook page and twitter handle. The Winners shall be notified by email or via inbox of the social media account through which they answered the Trivia Questions, within 7 days immediately after the competition ends.
Winners must communicate their acceptance to the email sent to them by NIBSS within 24 hours of the receipt of the notification, via email or to the winner’s Facebook account inbox. If NIBSS does not receive the winner’s email within 24 hours, NIBSS has the sole right and discretion (without the need for further notification) to select an alternative winner while the first winner shall automatically forfeit the prize in such an event.
8. Upon receipt of the winner’s email, NIBSS will provide further instructions (via the same email thread) as to prize redemption. The winner must fully comply with all such instructions as a condition to receiving the prize. Such instructions will include (but not be limited to) the following requirements:
(a) Winner must send a reply email to NIBSS (at the stipulated email address), reaffirming acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Competition
(b) Winner must physically and personally be present at NIBSS’s in Lagos to collect the prize, and must produce:
? visual verification that he/she is the owner of the email account with the winning entry
? original identity documents proving that he/she resides in Nigeria (a photocopy will be taken of the documents and retained by NIBSS for records)
? any other document(s) or information that NIBSS may require, as stipulated in NIBSS’ email instructions.
10. All taxes that payable shall be deducted as applicable from the winning sum where necessary.
11. Any cost associated with entering this Competition is the responsibility of the participant and under no circumstance whatsoever may any claim be brought against the Promoter for any such costs (whether as damages, loss, expense or otherwise)

12. NIBSS shall make all determinations as to the compliance and appropriateness of submissions its sole discretion. Participants irrevocably agree and acknowledge that the NIBSS may reject, edit or remove any Trivia Answer at any time without notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
13. As soon as entries are submitted, participants grant NIBSS an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, redact, edit, republish, sub-license, translate, copy and create derivative works using your name and/or picture in any media now known or hereafter developed, without any payment, compensation or further notification to or permission from you.
14. NIBSS shall collect, process, transfer and keep certain information about the Participants and Prize winners for the purposes of the Competition and comply with Consumer Protection Acts as well as the Information Protection Acts. This information may include but may not be limited to your Name, Email address, contact details, Bank Account Number and related data, and other information obtained as a result of your entry in the Competition or obtained from your financial institution or pursuant to your existing relationship with the Promoter (“personal information”).
14.1 All personal information shall be used solely in connection with the Competition; and
14.2 By participating in this Competition, you consent to the NIBSS displaying your name on the Competition website (www.cashlessquest.com), NIBSS’ website and its social media networks in the event that you are selected as one of the Prize Winners. Should you refuse to provide NIBSS with consent to display your photograph on the its website, NIBSS shall be provided with a written notification of such refusal within 24 hours from the date on which you are notified of being a winner. If no such notification is sent, then you agree that NIBSS shall be entitled to use your photograph in terms of this clause.
15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Competition, including but not limited to where such injury, loss or damage arises out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the control of the Promoter); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after its receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms & Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or participant; or (g) participation in this Competition.
16. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) will not be responsible for any acts of God, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared), state of emergency, disaster, technical failures, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, computer viruses or other events beyond the control of the Promoter which affect the proper conduct or administration of this Competition, or prevent the awarding of a prize in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. If such event occurs, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

17. The Promoter is not responsible for any internet traffic congestion or problems with, or technical malfunction of, any telephone networks or lines, computer or online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment or software, including but not limited to any damage to the phone or computer of any participant or other person related to participation in this Competition.
18. By entering this competition, each participant agrees to abide by, and consents to the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy at which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
