Pulse is organizing an event photography speed contest for experienced photographers which will take place during the the 3rd Annual 500px Global Photowalk in Lagos on Satutday, 26 September, 2015.
This year, over 200 registered photographers will meet in Lekki, Lagos from where they will depart on a 2 hour walk exploring Lekki and environs.
All interested photographers will take pictures at this event and then send the pictures immediately to Pulse to stand a chance of becoming a full-time salaried photojournalist at Pulse.ng
PRIZES INCLUDE
1st Prize: A full-time salaried position as a photojournalist at Pulse.ng
2nd Prize: Engagement as a part-time photography stringer at Pulse.ng
3rd Prize: Engagement as a part-time photography stringer at Pulse.ng
JUDGING CRITERIA
Event photography. Emphasis on people and the event. Quality of the photo and the ability to capture the energy of the event.
Speed of getting the photo to us. All photos must be sent the day of the event as the event is going on. Submission deadline is7pm Saturday. Photos that come while the event is going on receive more points. Photos that come after the event is over will be discarded.
Photos should be titled with the names of the subjects where appropriate

Entries are to be sent in to photos@pulse.ng.
KICK OFF AND END DATE
Submissions for the contest will start on Saturday, 26th September and end by 7pm compulsorily on the same day. The winner will be announced on Monday, 28th September, 2015.
