Customers of Skye Bank Plc that earned points under the SkyeDreams customer loyalty programme have been rewarded with various types of prizes.
These included LCD TV sets, Black Berry phones, Laptop among others.
Under Skye Bank’s SkyeDreams programme, customers were enrolled automatically at the end of each quarter upon meeting certain criteria set by the bank. To qualify for enrolment, a customer is expected to maintain a minimum balance of N50,000 in either Skye Save, Skye Wise, Skye Rainbow or a standard Current account, or N150,000 in the Skye Select account.

A statement from the bank explained: “Membership enrolment is done at the end of every quarter and it is totally free. Once enrolled, members are sent their log in details via e-mail and sms. “Welcome base points are uploaded immediately after enrollment.
With Skye dreams, members earn Points once they effect any of the underlisted banking transactions.
“Monthly average incremental balance of a minimum N10,000 on usage of Point of Sale (POS) terminals and Internet banking for transfers.”
The bank further explained that points earned are uploaded into the member’s SkyeDreams account real time.
“However Points earned from monthly average incremental balance are uploaded at the end of month,” it added.
Mr. Adeyemi Aremu, who won an LCD TV set, thanked the bank for the gesture and expressed commitment to continue to operate his account with the bank.
Another customer from Kano, Mallam Taofic Suleiman, expressed his appreciation for the LCD TV set that he won.
“Points accumulated can also be applied to the purchase of tickets to a range of destinations. These include Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Kano via Aero or Arik airlines and Accra, Banjul, Dubai, London and Johannesburg via Arik, Aero, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic and South African Airways,” the bank added.
