STERLING BANK “60 SECONDS SHOPPING DASH”

As Christmas approaches, it’s quite commonplace for families to go shopping as they seek to stock up on edibles, gift items and lots more. Kids in particular look forward to the entire shopping experience as they can nudge mummy and daddy to get them items they’ve craved.

But sometimes, mummy and daddy have an entirely different agenda.
But what happens when your Bank decides to allow kids pick as much items as they want in one minute?
Starting this weekend, the second edition of the “Sterling Shopping Dash” kicks off at Shoprite, Festival Mall inside Golden Tulip Hotel, Festac Town Lagos.
The event organised by the Bank allows children aged 4-8 years who have its “I Can Save” account to participate in the dash. Holding in five states across the country, the programme promises to be entertaining as well as exciting for both kids and parents.
From Lagos, the train will move to both Oyo and Rivers states on Saturday, December 5th where children can shop at both Shoprite, Ibadan Mall Opposite High Court, Ring Road as well as SPAR PHC Mall, Azikiwe Road, Port Harcourt.
On December 12, 2015, Shoprite, Kwara Mall, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara state andShoprite, Ikeja City Mall, Lagos will be agog with the excitement as the kids shop to the admiration of cheering families and friends. The next stop after this is the SPAR Guru Plaza, 740, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja on December 13, 2015. The final stop on the Shopping spree is SPAR Lekki, Park ‘n’ Shop Shopping Centre, Behind Nicon Town & Total Filling Station, Lekki Express Way, Lagos, a few days before Christmas on December 19th, 2015
The decision to sustain the initiative was based on the encouraging feedback from last year’s edition as well as demand from other states not involved in the last exercise. The Bank therefore advised parents /guardians of children with ‘I CAN SAVE’ accounts to contact the nearest branch of the Bank in their location and request for a voucher that would grant them access to the shopping malls or call the Sterling Bank’s Customer Care.
Just as last year, the Bank has assured of its commitment to ensuring the safety of the children by providing child minders to follow them while they shop as well as medical personnel to be on standby.
To take care of children who wish to be part of this wonderful experience, Sterling Bank assured that provision would be made for parents to open accounts for their children at the venue.
So hurry and make sure your kids/wards aren’t left out of the experience.
