2. Submit Art Work  …drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, video or mixed media work.
3. Share Your Submission on Social Media and get your friends to Vote for you.

Reputable Art Industry Leaders will judge the competition based on the following criteria: 
(1)  Originality: Must be an original work of art from the artist submitting the work. 
(2)  Creativity: Does the art fit into the theme and did the artist think outside the box? 
(3)  Technicality: Artistic skills will be assessed.

Entry Closes on 9th September, 2015.

By participating in any of our games/competitions, entrants agree to be bound by the rules set out below (which may be amended or varied at any time without notice). The responsibility is on participants to acquaint themselves periodically the rules/terms.

a) Tech Meets Art Contest is open to everyone who is a legal citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and appreciates the Nigerian culture.

b) Participants are required to submit an artwork (drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, video art and mixed media work) that fits into the Theme: “Interactions – Crossing Lines” and entries chosen by Reputable industry leaders will be showcased at Rele Art Gallery during the Exhibition.

c) For every Entry, participants agree that they are the original owner of the artwork and shall indemnify Samsung Electronics West Africa for any claim by any third party arising from their entry.

d) This offer commences on August 19th, 2015 and closes on September 9th, 2015. All entries must be completed no later than 11:59pm on September 9th, 2015. No entry received after this time will be considered.

e) Winners from previous online contests hosted or sponsored by Samsung in the past 6 months are not eligible to participate in this art competition.

f) Samsung Electronics West Africa and Rele Gallery reserve the right to select winners and disqualify erring participants.

g) Participants must be willing and able to attend the closing event on September 13th, 2015 at the ReLe Gallery in Lagos to physically received the prize, if announced as winners.

h) Winners must possess a valid form of identification which includes, but not limited to, International Passport (compulsory for prizes involving international travel), Drivers’ License, and National ID card.

i) There is NO cash alternative to the non-cash prizes and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-transferable.

j) Winners agree to co-operate with Samsung Mobile NG in any post-event publicity where they may be required to appear on television or radio, or in printed publications, for which no fee will be payable.

k) Instructions on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

l) Samsung Mobile NG will not divulge the database of entries received to any 3rd party except in litigation.

m) Samsung reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any part of an entry and participant (including a participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Samsung to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

n) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law and except as stated in these Terms and Conditions, Samsung (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Samsung’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any claim arising from prizes won under this competition that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the participant) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Samsung ; or (d) any tax liability incurred by a participant.

o) Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligations upon Samsung which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. These Terms and Conditions must be read subject to those statutory provisions and will not affect any statutory rights.

p) By participating in this competition, the participant agrees and permits Samsung and/or its appointed agents to collect personal customer information in order to conduct the offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers and as required, to Nigerian regulatory authorities. Participant also grants Samsung the right to, for an indefinite period, use all information provided to Samsung through this competition for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Participant.

q) Employees of Samsung Electronics West Africa online (or any of its group companies or affiliates/sponsors), or anyone associated with this cause may not enter.
