This is a reality game show debuting for the first time in Nigeria.
THE GAME:
The game “The Money Drop” originally from Paris, is now played in Nigeria.
It is a game of TWO PLAYERS which should definitely have a strong relationship – i.e.: friends, family members, brother and sister, husband and wife, father and son, best friends etc.
It consist of 7 questions and answers in categories.
The contestants are issued $100,000 which they have to answer questions correctly to keep. They split the money in the options boxes when they are not sure of the answer. The dollars on the incorrect answers to the question drops and its lost.
The contestants wins the remaining dollars at the end of the 6 questions.
Most importantly for the show, the contestants need to be engaging and entertaining, as they may feature on screen for a full 48mins episode. They also need to be able to have a reasonable level of General Knowledge, be able to cope under pressure, be competitive,confident and articulate.
There is a lot of verbal interaction between contestants and the host during the game show; therefore the contestants need to be upbeat and outspoken.
