UBA FOUNDATION – 2013 NATIONAL ESSAY COMPETITION

WIN A UNIVERSITY EDUCATION GRANT

Get a N1million educational grant in the United Bank for Africa University Educational Grant.
UBA Foundation, the CRS arm of the United Bank for Africa, is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2013 edition of the National Essay Competition among secondary schools students in Nigeria. 
Winners will get educational grants to study in any African University of their choice.

Essay Topic:
How reading has impacted my knowledge.

Entry Procedures and Rules:
Applicants must attach photocopies of their original birth certificate or photocopies of international passport data page, must be senior secondary school students in Nigerian Schools.

Applicants should send in handwritten essay entries of not more than 750 words on the competition topic. They must submit their complete contact information (school name and address, residential address, phone number and email address).

Prizes:
Winner – N1,000,000.00 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition/fees and a Laptop
1st runner-up – N750,000.00 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition /fees and a Laptop
2nd runner-up – N500,000.00 or its local currency equivalent towards university tuition/fees and a Laptop.

Judges:
The panel of judges is made up of Professors from reputable Nigeria universities.

    Please, my little brother submitted an article for the competition last week, I would like to know the procedures with which follow-up can be done, I mean, how do we know when the winners are announced.
